Hot Yoga and the Benefits for the Post Menopausal Woman: My Starter’s Journey

Hello, my lovely!

Welcome to my first “real” blog as a content writer, copywriter, and blogger.

I’ve been through a lot starting up my business. I have gone back and forth, learning and re-learning the tricks of the trade with SEO website development. How important are the right words to kick in for the right searches? Even the smallest detail eases the curious scroll’s mind.

My goal is to write website content, blogs, and emails for health, wellness, and fitness studios. Which brings me to this blog.

I Have Been on a Research Mission!

I wanted my online presence to be known and to create a portfolio, but how? I need to get involved with my community and my writing specialty - health, wellness, and fitness.

How?

Visit local businesses who have the same worries as I did when I tried to open my studio. I wasn’t successful for several reasons:

  • I didn’t have SEO support

  • I didn’t have the education to host a real studio, only online awareness.

  • I wanted to communicate with my potential clients but I didn’t have the time.

Then it dawned on me! Go with a friend to her studio and start my research!

Hot Yoga in Springfield, Missouri.

I was completely floored at this amazing nugget of the world. I knew I needed to start my research by visiting the studios in Springfield.

Then, I became a Half-Yogi overnight.

What is a Half-Yogi?

The love and respect of the strength of the Chaturanga, the movement of the 3-legged dog, and the sweat of the controlled heated room. A total body workout with just the body! I have a full description in my content pieces below.

Now, I am not going to reveal where I started my journey, yet. Just know it changed my life completely.

I Started a Case Study:

I was so impressed with how I felt after my first few classes, I hit Google for answers. And I didn’t find a lot. Therefore, I dig in with the medical, physical therapy, and hot yoga instructors tidbits to create a 3-part case study series of my journey.

I could have made this a 4 or 5 part series easily!

Studio Hopping:

I am attending my 2nd studio incognito, just like my first. I will attend with the 2-week pass and then move on.

Why Floating Around?

My goal is to open the eyes of the local community and create appealing content from a fitness instructor’s point of view. The positive vibes, the best value, the array of classes, and so forth.

Get my name out there to be in 417 Magazine as a local traveling guru! It’s fun!

Also, I would love to teach again! I so miss it!
